Product Description
Brass Pin Modulators are electronic devices utilized for modulating the amplitude of high-frequency electromagnetic waves. They have multiple brass pins arranged in a linear array as well as electrically connected to a modulating voltage source. The pins are embedded in a dielectric material, including a plastic or ceramic, and are separated by a small hole, normally on the order of micrometers. They are mostly utilized in high-power radio frequency applications, like in radar systems for modulating the amplitude of microwave signals. The Brass Pin Modulators are preferred over other modulation techniques, like vacuum-tube-based modulators, because of their lower power consumption, higher efficiency, and smaller size.
